June Castro
Master June Castro is the daughter of Great Grandmaster Ralph Castro. She is an eighth degree black belt in Sholin Kenpo Karate and one of the highest ranked female instructors in the world. She is well known for Shaolin Kenpo Karate, Jeet Kune Do, Kung Fu, Boxing, Silat, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Kickboxing
The stars provide us a great encouragement to pursue the martial arts technique to deep levels. We must look for the icons that have dedicated their lives wholly to marshal arts and have contributed to spread it among the masses.
Most of the masters start at a very young age; June started her training at the age of four. Of course her father was chiefly responsible for her training, but eventually it was June who had to work hard.
Her hard work has resulted in winning several trophies at the state and international competition. Interestingly she is also an instructor in Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do Concepts.
To make martial easy and convenient for people to learn, she has made several top selling instructional videos currently on the market. Some of these titles are: Kickboxing For Fitness and Women’s Self Defense. She also writes in a few publications associated with martial arts and also hosts television show, “Total Health.”
She has been rated as one of America’s top ranked martial artist by Black Belt Magazine.
